How We Get Paid, and Why There’s NO COST TO YOU!

Realty Guard is compensated by the real estate agent at the close of a transaction. Whether the agent hires Realty Guard directly to offer greater value to their clients, or the client makes working with the agent contingent on using Realty Guard services, it’s the same. The client gets the value of our services at NO COST TO THEM!

Frequently Asked Questions

In most cases, we will contact the Realtor you choose to explain the details of our services. If you prefer to contact the Realtor yourself, that’s OK too!

In the rare case your agent doesn’t want to share their commission to cover these fees, we have a few options:

  • Consider using another agent
  • We can provide a discount to our clients that want to pay the fees themselves (not recommended!)

Just something to think about… If your agent doesn’t want to invest in a service that would clearly help you, is this really the agent you want representing you? Let’s pretend that you purchase a $250,000 home, and your agent makes a $6,000 (after paying fees). Assume the agent puts 30 hours of work into your transaction. That’s $200/hour.

For that amount of money, is your agent looking out for your best interest if they don’t use a small % of that fee to have a team of experts helping get you the best service?

No problem. We work with all agents. However, for us to be compensated for our services, either the Realtor would need to agree to cover the Realty Guard fees out of their commission at closing, or our clients would need to cover our fees themselves.

Realtors that are truly looking out for their client’s best interests invest in tools and programs that provide the most value and best service.
